Imagine a championship celebration. They all start with the lifting of a shiny trophy overhead.

It’s what our athletes play for and what us fans dream about.

But to act like our teams’ holding a trophy is the entire reason for the whole endeavor would be a lie. If that were the case, most fan bases would’ve dumped their teams a long time ago.
