At 21-6, UT passed up a field goal that would have put them at 24-6, three scores ahead, even with 2 8 point TDs. To me that was bad coaching, even though I'm sure he was dreaming of breaking his red zone troubles. Then he did it again, although the score was better by then. I agree with his playing with the team he hopes he has vs the team that he has at the moment. I like aggressive but that was a bad call, not just in hindsight.
Lots of contender stuff too, their offense could hardly gain a yard on our defense which had a lot of second unit players in there. Offense also marched the ball down the field at will, just have to get the redzone issue figured out OR just score on more big plays 🤷
He wants to bowl over people and win the SEC way, I think that’s part of the problem. Big dudes on our OL who aren’t completely developed physically who struggle against quicker more athletic DLs in the Big 12.
100%. It’s an OL built to compete with next year’s SEC DLs, and the cake still isn’t baked. It’s the right long-term strategy, and (like you say) Sark needs to fill the gaps this season with better play-calling to counter those smaller Big12 DLs.

Totally agree, three games in a row with ill timed aggression with the chance to extend the lead
Maybe my favorite article yet.
Per last week's article, there was quite a bit of "pretender" behavior on display against BYU. Hopefully our best football is still in front of us.

Texas managed to escape without consequences last time, so it'll be intriguing to watch how they fare against a strong Kansas State team.
Glad you didn’t punt this week. Where is the Texas beef on that O line? Sark is playing it with finesse like he’s still at SC!
