In the glow of The Golden Hat’s return to Austin, I had the honor of hosting one of my favorite sports writers and Texas football prognosticators on the podcast this week in Paul Wadlington. I’ve been reading Paul for years since he was known as Scipio Tex with Barking Carnival and every summer I devour his Thinking Texas Football preview and am not only entertained, but I become a smarter fan and better writer for it. He hosts a fantastic podcast of his own, Everyone Gets a Trophy and writes incredibly well for Inside Texas. Another reason to join!
